I own a full set of Lodge Logic cast iron pans and in my limited, novice use, I've found them to be stellar for the price. So far, I've not seen any reason why I'd pay more for another set.

That said, this isn't the best deal around. Amazon, selling it directly, has it for a $1 less currently.

I freely admit to being a cast iron snob. I use mine everyday and some are more than 100 years old. My favorites are Griswold, but the Wagner works great too. Recently bought the big overpriced woot! branded pan. Eventually I had to try cooking with it and it was a good pan right "out of the box" I am pleasantly surprised and can recommend this brand.

We bought this pan over a year ago. We love it. We use it just about every day. I'd buy it again if I ever needed another, though I probably never will unless I want one in another size -- in which case, I'd buy another Lodge pan.

I already have a Le Crousset (sp?) iron pan that I think has some enamel on it, so I don't have any use for this right?
