These are ideal if you need them for single use purpose. I bought two last time around and use one for inventory and another for kitchen and winemaking recipes. Also a HUGE plus as both environments could lead to damage, so $35 vs my $699 ipad? No question.

Are they current, high end, or great for modern apps and games? No, but they're pretty perfect for specific use (and you can hack them so that apps like Evernote will run on them)...
