Dearie, this is a good price... wow haha. Fast as can be too. Usually 90+ for these. Get one pronto

@kurjagger: only issue is OCZ isn't the most reliable of SSDs.

SSD prices are dropping fast. I would say hold out for at least 240gig or bigger. I bought mine 3 months ago and wish I had waited. I think the holidays will bring some incredible deals on SSD's.

I just bought this exact drive from another deal site for the same price about 3 weeks ago. It's a great drive, very fast. My system boots in about 6 seconds after installing this drive.

$60 isn't too bad of a price. OCZ has a pretty large market share and that is a lot of the reason why you hear about more failures. I've got a few and haven't had any issues. If you are looking to get started this isn't a bad price to come in at. Use it for your OS and maybe a few prime programs, prices are dropping, so by the holidays you are bound to see many more deals like this. Main thing to consider is shipping time v the rebate submit deadline.

one thing to note - the pictures show the mount with it. I bought the OCZ Vertex Plus 120GB for $55 (AR) it also showed the mount, but it was not included. If they don't send it and you like a clean box (who doesn't) the mount will likely run anywhere from $4-10, depending on where you get it. Some people just duct tape it in or use the zip ties, or even just set it in the case. No moving parts so it shouldn't matter too much. Mine was bringing new life to an old Macbook so the mount didn't matter.

bummer i just bought one. ocz isn't too bad, they just sell a lot of their drives.

As great a deal as this is, I would steer clear of OCZ's SSD's only because they have such high failure rates. If you don't care about what's going on this drive, then it's a fantastic deal.

@sumduud: many newer cases are starting to have side mounts for these SSDs in the case. Or what I did with mine is that I wasn't using the 2 2.5" bays that are for floppy or other what have you's and my SSD mounted in there all nice and neat like.

Great Price at $75. OCZ has a horrid track record in honoring mail in rebates (especially in a timely manner), so just be careful and don't expect to get your rebate quickly... If at all.

I've been thinking about purchasing my first SSD for a while. I may have to get one of these to try out.

No reason not to do this. I have two 60 Gig SSD's with Windows, Office, and all my programs on for two of my PC's. They run so smooth and clean and think about how much less your HD's have to work, and how much longer they will last. At this price, it is a no-brainer.

This is a great price. I've had one of these drives for 4-5 months and its quite nice. It's worth noting though - Newegg has a Vertex 4 on sale today for about $75. If you (like me) don't trust rebate pricing, that's only around a $5 difference in price. I don't know whether paying a little extra for a newer model is worth it to everyone, but I'd probably get the Vertex 4, personally.

I ordered this (on the 29th, of course), and my order is still "processing", at this point for 12 days, with no update or response from the seller. I know this isn't a review on the product, which I thought looked awesome, but this seller has really disappointed me. It seems a site that rips off woot can't do nearly as good of a job.
