Dr Martens Boots 50TH ANNIVERSARY 1461 - Made in UK for $36 + free shipping
coupon code: TAKE20SALE
CHERRY RED PEBBLE
Price is $45.00, but all clearance is an additional 20% with code TAKE20SALE.
50th Anniversary Edition of one of Doc Martens original designs. These are Made in the UK, not China.
These are a direct replica of the very first boots to roll off the production line on 1 April 1960, handcrafted in the original factory (Wollaston, Northamptonshire, England) by cobblers using the original construction techniques. The product, made on the original ‘59’ last, features narrower horizontal tread bars, criss-crossed coring bars, a darker sole, a storm welt bound together on the lateral side, small indentations left on the welt by the original stitching machine, no top collar binding and runs into the eye stay above the top eyelet. This is where it all began.
Wow, $36 is DIRT cheap for a pair of Dr. Martens. High quality shoes, too. I just might have to get a pair.
Real English Doc Matrens? I didn't think they existed anymore. I thought all the production had been shipped to China.
anyone else having an issue with the order completion page?
Wow, that's a great deal. Add in that they are English and the original style for a nice bonus.
What happened to size 13, 14, 15? Damn it! :)
"But when they told me 'bout their side of the bargain,
"that's when I knew that I could not refuse
"And I won't get any older, now the angels want to wear my red shoes."
(Can't believe that I beat everyone to that.)
Maybe I could get them dyed.. black? [Those're $95!]
Wow, the Dr. Marten website must be from 1960 as well. It's so freaking slow, I'll be surprised if I finish this order today.
Yes it was slow but A new pair of work shoes. Sooo cheap.
OK, it finished. I had to simply walk away from the computer and let DM's website do its thing. But I'm pleased now, got a limey-made pair of Docs for less than forty bucks.
Horribly slow website! These will be antiques by the time my order goes through.
Code worked on two other pairs of docs I've had my eye on for a while, thanks!
@mcgroo: I am betting they are overwhelmed. This is a pretty damn good deal.
Site was painfully slow but worth the wait. Thanks for posting this deal!!
Whew! I earned those shoes! 45 minutes to order, but WHAT A DEAL!
Code works for woman's footwear, even in the sale bin...WhooHoo :) Site is very slow, but rewarding in the end run.
What the hell..they're red but they're $36. For that I can have a pair of red shoes.
Supposedly there are only 1461 pairs made of these shoes and they were released in April.
This website is almost as bad as HP's during the touchpad sale.
Holy crap, 2 hours and several site crashes later, I have an order confirmation for a pair of $36 Doc Martens. Thanks, Wootizens!
Like everyone else, it took me a long time, too, but I finally got my order in. I'm just so glad they are hand-made in the UK and not in China. This will be the only pair of shoes I own probably not made in China. I would expect these to last a long time.
Only sizes left are UK 8, 10, 11, and 12. I wish I had larger feet!
even though it lists the sizes for you to select, many of them are still sold out. I tried to get the brown and the red shoes for the $36 and couldnt get one in 9 or 10... also the 11's are sold out in brown. O well. Great deal! Thanks for posting
Aww sold out in UK 9~10
Seems like only UK11-12 left.
@ikspand: Size 12UK is size 13 US, brochacho.
@chezteladog: As long as the angels don't wanna wear them.
They don't come in wide widths, but for $36.00 Doc Marten's it's worth a shot. And cherry red to boot! In for one.
I like to get a pair size UK 8 but the link doesn't work. I can't find it. :(
Just ordered my first pair of Doc Martens. Thank you for posting!
Looks like they are all gone, even the promo link on their main page doesn't bring up these boots.
But hey: 20% Docs is still nice.
Bummer, I was SO ready to pull the trigger on this one. FYI, if you're size UK 12 or 13, there are a couple of lighter brown 1461s on their sale page, which should come out to $36, too. With this 20% off, there are really a lot of nice deals to be had on their shoes.
Deal worked for me UK size 11 (I wear size 12). Wow $36 bucks and original made in UK
ordered last night.. checked again this morning for another pair.. sold out..
I think it's over, I couldn't find them. I have a pair of DM's on right now made in not made in the UK and they started falling apart a few weeks after I bought them. I hope DM does this again because I love the styles but I will not get ripped off with another shoddy overseas DM shoe again.
I just got a pair of industrial Docs with safety toe for $50.40 delivered. Sweet deal for work boots.
Ordered 1 pair last night; got an email that my order was voided today. This would have been a really great deal...
There's still a lot of good sale items that this 20% code works on. AND FREE SHIPPING!!! I jsut picked up a pair for $72!?! AWESOME. I paid over $100 for a pair the last time I bought these as an angry misunderstood 15 year old.
Well, I ordered a pair yesterday and then today I received an email cancelling my order due to lack of stock.
Good deal OP, poor order processing Dr. Martens.
@waker1: Already shipped in less than 15 hours. Not bad!
@equintin: Me too. Sadcat is sad, but oh well.I'll just keep saving for a pair of For Life 1460's
canceled my order too :(
SOBs cancelled my order, out of the size I ordered.
I received my made in England Dr. Martens today. You can feel the super high quality as soon as you hold them. You can see how these are high and above any Chinese made shoe.
Received mine within a week! The quality appears to he excellent. I can't comment on comfort because I just had foot surgery :-/
Got mine as well. A very nice shoe. A little loose and what's with the funky way they are tied? I am trying to live with it but I think I'll change it to normal lacing. They don't loosen when you untie the shoe.
