"recertified?" is that another way of saying "refurbished" ie used? How much are these normally, this says 25 dollars off. Is that the full price, or the refurbished price (if it IS indeed refurbished).

I love my Harmony One. Bought on a similar deal, recertified/refurbed as well. I've had it for about 10 months and its still going like a champ. Super easy to use (I call it Mother-in-law proof) and the touch screen is a nice touch. Regular price new is around $190, so a nice price too.

I've been eyeing this remote for ages. I have several friends who have them and I've heard nothing but the highest praise for this device. The price is right this time, I can't pass it up! Thanks Woot!

The coupon and free shipping worked for me. No tax & free shipping. Order total $99.99.

Bought one 5 years ago. Still the best gadget in the house. Anytime I change a component I only need to plug in the remote to my computer and log into my Logitech account. I've never had a component not listed on the Logitech site. I've used cable, Directv, various TVs, various audio pieces and various dvd/blu-ray players.

The mother-in-law proof statement is so true. Anytime I have guests over I tell them to just press the touch screen button that says "Watch TV". Same goes for other activities such as dvd, blu-ray, music, game, etc. Everybody can figure it out without messing up settings or components. If something goes wrong press the "help" button. The remote will walk you through what might be wrong and it will fix the problem.

For you PS3 folks you can get an IR adapter and it'll work with the PS3 as well.

I've had a couple other logitech remotes and this is really the "One" you want. Don't bother with the rest. They will work, but this remote is just better in all aspects.

A word of caution from a long-time Harmony user. I have had three of five remotes die on me. Of those, one was within the warranty period and honored. The next two were Harmony 890s (about $250 a pop). Both died within six months of one another. When they work, there is no comparable remote out there. But they are not built to last in my personal experience. At $100, you're getting a great deal. But don't be surprised if it self-destructs just outside of the warranty period.

As a side note, having purchased over $1000 in Harmony remotes I contacted Logitech to see about getting a replacement for the two dead 890s. They were willing to give me a discount off their MSRP, which essentially means the same price as retail. No offer to replace, no offer to repair. They don't seem to care that their product does not last. Perhaps this is a result of a lack of any decent competition.

a new one just came out with a better touchscreen but way less physical buttons. So I'd actually prefer this one.

Remember that when ordering from Meritline the product will take 2-3 weeks to arrive, so don't order this if you're remote just died and you need a replacement tomorrow.

@vudean: Agreed. The new one is getting mixed reviews. People who have owned this remote and have bought the new one say it isn't well designed at all. Read the reviews on Amazon.

Bought my parents one of these for Christmas at Costco. If you are one of those people who can't stand using multiple remotes or hate having to cycle through buttons and menus to switch devices this thing will be a huge life saver for you. It is literally their new favorite thing.

Since this is a refurb/recertify I can't speak to the quality of the unit you will be getting, but its a cool thing to have. If you are a costco member and wary about buying re-certs, go pick one up at the store for about $119.

FWIW the review on the sale website says that they are selling used floor demos that are heavily worn.

@hartjo1: had the same situation... the buttons would stop working they only offered a discount. make sure you check out the warranty before you buy

I purchased one of these through Meritline several months ago. Still works, and I love it. No complaints so far. I have six remotes now collecting dust in a drawer thanks to this bad boy.
