I had one of these, back when 'g' was new. It died in a matter of months.

not a fan of this router bought one a couple of years back and every time I streamed video it would crash the router...

It's a meh-router. It lasted a little a couple of years for me, more like a 50 ft range. No way anyone gets 500 ft. I wouldn't mess with a refurbished one.
