These are not your average ear buds. In fact, they work in a whole different way that is both safer and more comfortable.

The Sportz 2 by AfterShokz employ what is called bone conduction technology, which the military traditionally uses for communication. The speakers, or transducers as they are called, rest over the tragus', which are the little tabs over the openings of your ears.

What does this mean for you? Quality ear buds that leave your ears open. This is not only safer for running on the street where you still need to hear, but having ear buds in your ears for prolonged periods of time greatly increases your chances of ear infection.
