@jjeff: this is a very good AC unit and the cheapest you can find online... yes there are other brands but you have to compare apples to apples.

??? I see 5000 BTU AC units for under $100 all the time, of course for one with a remote it may be closer to $130......am I missing something with this deal? Not like Fedders is a top of the line name either.....
