B&N & Kindle Ebook - A Little Bit of Everything For Dummies for $0
By Consumer Dummies.
Here is the link for the Kindle Ebook: http://www.amazon.com/Little-Bit-Everything-Dummies-ebook/dp/B006BBLNA8/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1325457721&sr=1-1
Twenty years ago the very first For Dummies book, DOS For Dummies, was published. From that first printing of that first book came a series unlike anything in the publishing world, one that is global in both geography - we have been published worldwide in some 30 languages - and in coverage. No single volume can hope to summarize what thousands of titles have meant to millions of readers over the years, and we don't claim to do that in this e-book. Rather, this e-book celebrates the breadth and depth of the For Dummies series, offering 20 chapters - in honor of our 20 years - from a list of books compiled by our global colleagues. We are confident the chapters we've included give you a representative glimpse at why - no matter what the topic - our products have meant so much to so many by Making Everything Easier.
This looks like it might be a fun read. Thank you!
Scratching head, trying to figure out how this is a free Kindle e-book at Barnes & Noble?? They only download to Nook and Nook apps.
Searched on Amazon and it IS free for Kindles - download here
Edit: Well, duh! If I had just read the listing I would have seen the link to Amazon. ::embarrassed look:: Sorry!
@gmwhit: I've included link to Kindle
I put both on one post, should I have put them in separate posts?
@barnabee: You are welcome, I thought it would be a fun read.
@gmwhit: The yellow button is for Barnes and Noble link. The Amazon link is in the description. Oops! I've seen you've answered this @meems212 . I didn't have any problems with the links, but I really don't know if it should be two separate postings.
@gmwhit: It's cool, I wonder though, should I have posted them separately?
@meems212: I'm not sure. BUT, you can still post it separately if you want to. Just do NOT list B&N in the title at all; only Kindle. :-D. I upvoted this AND got the Kindle edition. Would upvote a Kindle listing, too. ;-)
New Year's Resolution by gmwhit: READ the entire listing before you jump to conclusions and post. Sorry again. :-)
If you search "a little bit of everything" in the kindle book store it pops right up and then you can "buy" it for free.
GREAT! Thanks for posting this... I don't have a Kindle, but this ebook can also be downloaded to your PC!!! (And then I can also read it on my Android phone!) :D
So this book a little bit of sampling for dummies?
I got this, but most of the content is terribly out of date (think Windows XP) and not very interesting. Still, it's worth just about what I paid for it: $0.
@gmwhit: Don't fret over it too much. You aren't the first (cough...cough...voice of experience here), and most certainly will not be the last to post before reading something thoroughly. It happens.
A free ebook? Why would ANYBODY vote it down???
Nice! Can't never have enough 'For Dummies' Books :D Thank you~
Works perfectly from the Amazon link. Sent immediately to my android.
Thanks for this one!
Not thrilled about having to sign up with a debt/credit card. But there is a nook application for your phone/pc to read it other than on a nook.
