I see these for sale all the time. Has anyone tried these? How does it sound? I hate buying speakers without hearing them first.

@subrec: These have pretty bad reviews on Amazon. I stay away from anything less than 4 star without checking it out myself first.

Ungh. I was in for a test ride until I read this on their site: "THESE ARE GREAT FOR ALL VESPAS! "

If your looking for quality sound for under $100 you'll be looking for ever. I bough the 100w version fpr my Jeep a couple of years ago. They've held up through the mud and rain. I can't complain.

If I want to hear fine stereo sound while going down the road I take my car! On the bike I don't want to hear anything other than the wind and my V-Twin.

I had the 250w version a while ago for a road trip. Fairly loud, a little hard to hear over the wind and pipes at interstate speed, but a good little system for the price.

I have made the mistake of trying 2 different Shark systems. They were both very poor quality. If you want a truly GREAT value for a stereo of this type, try the MC-500 from BossAduio.com . They are reasonably priced, better built, and sound 10X better!
