The Petzl Tikka Plus Headlamp combines the lightweight and long-lasting power of the original Tikka with four LED bulbs and a dimming switch to give you more light or longer battery life. The Tikka Plus Headlamp weighs only 2.75 ounces, and provides plenty of light for traveling through the backcountry at night. Petzl added a push-button switch with three brightness settings and a strobe mode for signaling. Thanks to its tiny size, the Tikka Plus Headlamp easily fits in your jacket pocket so it will always be ready if you get caught in the dark.

In for two (shipping was $6.99 for two to TN). Great deal - and good reviews on Amazon! Only knock I could find was that the actual model is not listed anywhere. I suspect it's the E47 which is $25 on Amazon. Unlike the tikka plus 2, this one is not officially compatible with the lighter lithium batteries, but ymmv.

FYI, they have the same deal out of backcountry.com, but I believe both sites are run by the same company anyway. Still a good deal even after 6.99 shipping.

@filbie: A good thing, though, is that they combine shipping well. For 4, the shipping for me was just over $8. Seems totally reasonable.

Petzl makes great headlamps. I have the Petzl E49P TacTikka Plus 4-LED Headlamp and it's AWESOME. Great buy for $8.
