This is a sweet deal... but a word of caution about Tungsten Carbide: it's apparently so very strong that you cannot cut through it. The benefit is that it won't scratch or show any markings, but the bad part is that if you smash your ring finger and it swells up huge, you might have to literally cut open your finger (bleed out) to allow the ring to come off. Ouch! That's why I chose titanium, still a strong metal, easy to polish, and it looks cool... but I can saw it off if necessary.
But if you can avoid smashing your hand, go for it!

Sounds like the description writer needs that Gaiam BalanceBall Chair.

You can cut Tungsten Carbide, how do you think they shape and polish the rings? But the idea of a high speed copper blade impregnated with diamond slowly cutting a ring off my smashed finger sounds painful.

The metal won't scratch but the brushed finish can and will get tiny scratches from wear.

Tungsten carbide is used in metalworking tools, and comes in a variety of grades, ranging from hard and brittle to really hard and really brittle. Not sure what grade jewelry would be made of, but notice that they're all brittle -- I expect you could easily shatter a ring with a pair of vise-grips.
