I have the larger version of this generator. It's loud, it vibrates a LOT but it works. Every time I needed it- it worked. If you are not a little handy with fixing things, don't get it. I've had to repair it a couple times for relatively simple things.
As someone mentioned on the Home Depot reviews- turn the gas off when not in use or it will all pour out. That guy can't read directions... but I forgot once and it leaked.

By the way, this generator is not available in California because of strict emissions regulations. (Or Alaska or Hawaii, either, but not for the same reason...)

Showing $299 for me. I would have jumped on this at $199. I've been wanting an emergency generator for some time now. Hard to beat $199 if that was still available.

Engine Manufacturer is Smarter Tools? Doesn't inspire much confidence. Also, 120 volt means you can't use it to power anything like an electric range or Central A/C or electric water heater.
Get a Generac or a Honda if you want a bulletproof unit that will last.

Price is back up to $299.99. Still has free shipping, though. :-/
