This series is worth any price, but 2 bucks for blu-ray is a steal! The cinematography is absolutely incredible, I wish I had a blu-ray player :(

The US Edition of Planet Earth was narrated by Sigourney Weaver. Oprah was on 'Life'.

Since it is Discovery, I'd expect it to be the Sigourney Weaver US edition, although a while back I got the HD video file of this episode as narrated by Attenborough from iTunes for free. All in all though, it's a great episode, from a great series, and definitely worth a few dollars.

Sigourney Weaver did a good job with this one, so don't worry about buying the UK version instead. If you buy Life, though, be sure and get the UK version.

I agree that Weaver did an O.K. job, but I still really prefer the UK version. Maybe it's an alternate audio track?

I agree with drwurm regarding Life, though. Steer clear of the US, Oprah-narrated version, unless you're seven.
