Worked great after installed - for a day then blue LED's never worked again - red continue to work but.....

I agree with the above comment. I bought a similar one from ThinkGeek in 2008 and it died in relatively short order.

Here's my review:

Verdict: pass, but maybe worth $6.99

i just ordered it
from what i hear is really just a novelty, for a dollar if it works an breaks oh well

i think what alot of these reviers problems are on the site is that they spent about 50 bucks on the thing and it failed

after shipping its like 7 dollars and for that if it works for a month i would be content

worth a try for $7

I bought one from a different deal sight a week or so ago, it works great. Mine is a little different though, when the water is cold the leds are green once warm it turns blue, when it's hot its red and when it's too hot it flashes red. I paid $7.00 for it shipped, money well spent. I also have the ones you put on your sink

Got one of these for christmas from ThinkGeek. Worked problemless for about two months, then I noticed there was a pool of water slowly increasing inside the inner bulb where the LED's are housed. Now the blue completely doesn't work, and the red flickers from time to time, and the water that has seeped in is all rust colored probably from corroding the electrical contacts and whathaveyou.
