I just had one of these begin to die on me, and paid Seagate $10 for the privilege of having them send me the warranty replacement via 2-day shipment with a label to return the defective drive--which will give me the chance to transfer what I can salvage from the old drive to the new before returning. But, while I considered part of my $10 fee to be paying for the expedited delivery, I got an email later informing me that they were out of stock and would be delaying the delivery indefinitely.

I'm not warning against buying Seagate because my drive died--all brands can. That's just the nature of this technology. BUT, I am very disappointed in how they're handling my warranty claim.
