These tweezers are terrible just to let everyone know.

@spicyflavor: I haven't had much problem with mine thus far.

vote-for1vote-against

I bought a pair but have not used them yet. I guess I should pull them out so that I can give reviews.

vote-for1vote-against

never know when you're going to need tweezers

vote-for1vote-against

These are really good, but not super durable. I'm in for 1, though. (And this is a great price!)

vote-for7vote-against

$0.49 how is anything made, packaged and shipped internationally for that price?

vote-for1vote-against

These tweezers are great, just keep them away from your eyeballs. They're very pointy and will tear those suckers right out.

@ploeg8393: You underestimate the cost of cheap Chinese labor! These probably cost around $.05 to manufacture, MAYBE. Shipping is probably the biggest cost, but then again, you can fit a LOT of tweezers in a single container.

Believe it or not, someone is still making a profit off of this...

@deftoned989: I don't know, we may need to ask why labor for the tweezers here are so expensive. Two small pieces of metal either stamped out or molded and somehow welded together. It seems to be a totally mechanized process. I can totally see this happening at 1 tweezer per second. The only human labor may be a quality check. (aside from the initial design and modeling, but keep in mind this is a cheap (not monetarily) tweezer )

Dang! These things scare me!!!

vote-for1vote-against

I also got the expired coupon code error, tried numerous times, I think it is dead.

vote-for1vote-against

Damn, I meant to say "overestimate", not under. @aeson25, while I would agree with most of what you said, someone still had to make the machines and maintain them.

vote-for1vote-against

Confirmed. Stabbed with the falcon talons. This is dead.

@deftoned989: While I agree with cheap Chinese labor, I've seen items like these shipped Air Mail from China to me rather than on a container ship. 49 cents free shipping. How an envelope is shipped from China directly to me for less than .49 cents is beyond me. Even if they do make a couple cents on each unit.... is it really worth the time!?!? Time to restructure and make something worth a damn.

vote-for0vote-against

I bought these during a recent deal and they are worthless!

The think of it like amazon.com. They didn't make profit for years but had incredible revenue. They grew to the size where few could compete with them. Eat the cost to drive your competitors out of business.

Coupon has officially expired. Too bad since .49 is a steal for just about anything these days.
