@ltcrisp: Mine is a different brand, exact same look though. Readings are plus or minus either 2 or 3 degrees (I don't remember) so not pointing at a sick kid and getting anything usable. Good for anything where you don't really care about exact accuracy.

@ltcrisp: These are for measuring surface temperature. Usually for people, you want internal body temperature. So, unless you are very creative as to where to point it, it's not going to work.
