Free 1 year subscription to Popular Mechanics
Free 1 year subscription to Popular Mechanics. It was listed as a Black Friday deal -- not sure if the deal will extend past Friday, 11/25/11.
Towards the end of the deal, it will pop up a new window asking you if you want add'l magazines and will ask for CC info. Just close that window; it's optional.
HAve to say, I've tried this place several times on these "free" deals. Not once have a gotten a magazine. Feels like info harvesting only to me. Just my experience on it.
I've gotten a couple of free subscriptions from mercury magazines without any problems.
I got one. Jusst close the window that asks for your credit card imfo and you'll see your order confirmation details pop up right in front of you. Do not be afraid to exaggerate your job discription just a bit. I've dealt with these people many times and have always gotten the magazines they have told me I would get. They are the real deal.
I tried it and never got beyond the credit card input.. looks likes a info scam to me
I've gotten several magazines from these guys. I think it helps to say your job involves purchasing power in some way shape or form, but that may just be the professional mags.
I have been getting free copys of InformationWeekly and Progressive Railroading for years. Even followed me after a move when I didnt forward them my new address. I used to get the popular mechanics, but that free sub seemed to run out a few years back.
Thanks for posting this one.
Could not proceed without giving my phone number...free is not worth it.
I have been using Mercury Magazines for several years now, and have received the magazines 90% of the time.
As far as using a phone number, the one I use is 803-555-1212. Just replace your area code, and you shouldn't have any problems.
Also, I use an email like "abc@gmail.com" to stop them from harvesting. Hasn't failed to work for me.
Worked for me. It opens a new window asking you to pick other mgags for $2. Just close that window and the oriental window you had open tells you "Thanks, you'll receive Popular Mechanics in 2-6 Weeks"..
is it bad that i put Bob the Builder LLC under company name?
Due to overwhelming demand, Popular Mechanics is no longer available
