Comparable desks I have seen have been over $70. This is a great buy, in for 1.

Where do you put your feet? Or are you supposed to straddle this thing?

not soo much straddle as ride

A tenant of mine abandoned one of these rather than move it. The footrest is made of relatively thin metal which bends if you actually rest your feet on it, and that throws the rest out of alignment. The keyboard drawer is also flimsy construction and it sticks. Overall a cheap piece of furniture, and not worth the $45. You will get way better value by trolling the used office furniture on Craigslist, where there are always computer stands available.

Where is the computer in the picture? I only see a monitor and keyboard ...

This is what your office buys you for a workspace when your boss really thinks "who will last longer the employee or the desk?"

It's only a little better than what I have in my networking closet. Mine is missing the keyboard drawer, but small desks like this are a good fit for the webserver in the closet under my stairs. I pretty much always use it through SSH, but when I need to use it locally it's nice to have it on a tiny desk.

The "footrest" is a "Spacious bottom shelf" which "holds CPU or components". Unless you sit on your legs, your feet should be resting on the floor.
