If the 4.95 mil is a little high they have jets starting at around $200k in the for sale section.

@nwmsujchaney: You're paying a premium for sure, but considering the concepts of scarcity and supply and demand, being that there are only two available anywhere, it could be more. Also, there no comparison between a Sukhoi and a T-39, and it costs a flaming buttload to get a foreign warbird in spec for operation in the US, easily over a million just for that, even if you don't have to actually fix or replace anything. You have to practically take it apart and put it back together, except that qualified Sukhoi technicians are tough to come by so they probably had to be flown in from out of the country. Just sayin...
how bout we actually post some actual deals? the space shuttle was funny, i get it. but man, let's use the same sarcasm and post space shuttles, jets, islands and other crap because we're so funny. you're just copying the one funny guy.

More then interesting I thought it was pretty darn interesting something that there is 2 of available in the USA was up for sale. People don't have to vote it popular, apparently they did.
You say the reason the space shuttle was mind blowing was because of the logistics behind it.. You do realize this jet they are selling is a GEN 4 fighter jet. That is crazy to have a shot at to own. I can only imagine the lists you'd be put on government wise owning one.

Have you seen the Amazon reviews? You really get what you pay for at this kinda price. I'm going to hold out and hope it ends up in a BoC.
I'm curious how someone would upkeep this thing. I'm guessing parts would have to be custom-made at ridiculously high prices.

@gibson83: i do 1000 to 1200 gallons per hour WITHOUT AFTERBURNERS ON !!!!!! fuel only 5 bucks a gallon so around 5k per hour to fly, parts easily available, i checked with a friend in russia.
