Is it just me or can anyone else not find the $4 domains? All I see is the hosting packages.

The site does seem to emphasize hosting, for which I've read in many reviews that they're well rated. I found it curious that even on the domain pricing page, the prices have an asterisk stating that this reflects a discount on the first invoice only... but nowhere could I find where it would cost after that.

I also had to do google search to find their page regarding WhoIs protection, for those that might be interested in that service. For that they charge a whopping $9.95/yr. There are a number of domain registrars that will include this for free for at least the first year, and fees after that are usually less than $4.

You have to enter the coupon code (redcross) to get the domain discount. Renewal is $15 so you're better off transferring to another registrar unless the price drops before the year is over. Whois protection is a scam, fake info works just fine, no one verifies it anyway as long as the email address is real.
