Best order a lot of crap to take advantage of the shipping!

Nice, in for the hickory and sausage collections, and beef hickory sampler. Just shy of $20, before shipping.

After tax and delivery i still got 4 gifts sets for 40 bucks! great deal!

Picked up four packages total for my parents, as they love to serve this kind of stuff when they entertain. And part of it is just that the Hickory Farms name invokes memories of shopping in the malls before Christmas, with their carts everywhere.

I've never had this stuff, let's hope I didn't just make a mistake ordering stuff.

Bought these last week and received today. The Cranberry Mustard is awesome!

What's sad is that this stuff is still overpriced even when it's 75% off. It's definitely tasty stuff, but the retail price is just insane for what you're getting.

I threw five of these samplers into my cart (the ones that were the best deals), and ended up with 5.3 pounds of summer sausage and 4.3 pounds of cheese for $45 shipped. I can get that in my local store for about $30, and I can get a lot more variety in my meat and cheese choices too.

Hickory Farms was pretty awesome back in the 70's and 80's, but the mall pricing (i.e. paying huge bucks for the seasonal square footage rental) that came later just killed the value. The company got sold too many times and now it's just way too overpriced.

But hey, if you're going to buy it, buy it for 75% off!

Hey what you gonna do. I figured they doubled the price then gave me 75% off. I have kids (and a Mo in Law) that loves that stuff. So I figure its a win.

I bought last week when the shipping was as much as I spent on items. Would have saved me $10+ but oh well I have it now and its delicious!

I'm officially the worlds greatest impulse buyer! I purchased many items. The best part is its free shipping to a military address!

If you don't enjoy Hickory Farms I bet our soldiers will. Only 6.50 to send a nice tin of goodies to our troops. Did I mention free shipping!

Thanks for the WOOT-LIKE DEAL!

MMMMMM........ Summmer sausauge. In for lots and lots of meat. These things are hard to find anymore before christmas. And yes I would pay full price for them just because they are so yummy. But at these prices, I just stocked up for the super bowl party that will now have a summer sausage and cheese theme. Go Steelers!

At about $5 a pound for premium nuts, including candied nuts like pralined pecans, those are pretty good prices. I pay $1.25 for 4oz of candied pecans, and they are grown locally so our prices on them are pretty reasonable. Didn't buy much of the signature meats and cheeses-- if they had just the meats outside the gift sets I'd have bought them. But I did get one of the big gift sets for my gaming group to munch on.

Would do it if they allowed pickup. I work a mile away from the packaging/distribution center.

Just ordered 13 boxes as a mid-ski season thank you for my employees. Last time, I ordered a couple for friends serving in Afghanistan and 1 for my son at college and they all enjoyed them. Can't beat the 75% off and $10 shipping!

How could I pass up a chance to have sausage in our around my mouth? In for many boxes!

vote-for1vote-against

"AND and"?? That's like... twice the and! Hahaha!

vote-for2vote-against

How long will this stuff last before it goes bad? Dried sausage should be good for a while, right? How about the cheese?

Super Bowl Party Snacks! one of my office mates and I combined our order. $10 shipping for 6 boxes is awesome:)

@cheryldcummings: I was also wondering this. I mean, I'm sure it would last quite a while if you freeze the ones you aren't currently eating ASAP (the meat, I mean). But I don't know about the cheese. I've never frozen cheese, does it freeze and thaw well, or does it get ruined?

I'm gonna have difficulty finishing 3 of these collections/samplers off by myself before they start to go bad. I'm sure I can get help from friends occasionally stopping by though.
