Awesome game at an awesome price. If you've ever thought about breaking into TBS games, you couldn't do much better than Civ IV.

This game got me through my first shoulder surgery. Nice pace of game play to learn to use opposite hand on the mouse.

Consequently this is also on sale for the same price on Steam. I would much rather own it on Steam than Games for Windows. Plus the Steam version also includes the Mac port in case you own a Mac instead of a PC.

I'd rather buy most games on Steam, I like the service better.

@derrickjon: As far as I can tell, there would be no problem linking this to your Steam account. Sure, Steam's download service is great, but I've used Amazon's before with no difficulties, including downloading on multiple computers. Does Civ IV use SteamWorks? If not, no particular reason other than personal preference to choose one download service over the other.

Just saying. Regardless of where you buy it from, it's worth a purchase (and I already snagged one from Amazon for myself).
