The site says designed for a 15.4in laptop, but I own a 17" laptop (which actual length is just over 15"). Any ideas if it would still fit?

I'm wondering the same thing. The dimensions of the laptop sleeve given on the site are 17 x 11.5 x 2 inches, so as long as your laptop fits inside those constraints it should be good I think.

Trust me, there's no way in hell. I have one of these Belkin backpacks. Not the exact model (I got the slightly bigger one for 15.6" laptops), and my 15.6" laptop just SNUGLY fits into it. Don't get me wrong, it's a great, slim case and will fit a couple of notebooks as well as the laptop and charger, but it's not gonna fit a 17". Sorry, guys.

Belkin sells another laptop bag that is good for 17" laptops. I have one of those, and it has been a very good bag. Too bad I bought it from Amazon, so I don't get the lifetime warranty.

I think they need to put up a few more pictures and verify the specs.

How reliable is this website, www.dealsclick.com? seems like not many people know this. Has anyone ever purchased anything from this website?

@campbac: To recount the advice of shadowdragoon, no, a 17" laptop will not fit. When laptop companies say it fits a 15.4" screen, they are going based on the measurements of a computer with a screen that is 15.4" on the diagonal. A 17" laptop, widescreen or not will be several inches out the top of this bag if you were to try and fit it.

FYI, I had to RMA a Belkin case of similar style/fit (F8N050-BR)because the zippers broke... less than six months after I bought it from Amazon.

Snug doesn't begin to describe it.

@soleilvie: Thanks for posting that review. Very good. I bought one of these bags earlier today for my little netbook just like the reviewer. After that video I'm looking forward to getting it even more than before.
