dealskrispy kreme - dozen doughnuts for 75 cents when…

vote-for3vote-against

hmm I wonder how long it would take me to eat two dozen donuts by myself. Anyone want to share?

And the real story is:

Vernon Rudolph founded Krispy Kreme in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on July 13, 1937, and the first Krispy Kreme store was located on South Main Street in what is now called historic Old Salem.

Krispy Kreme is celebrating a Birthday! We are turning 75 on July 13th and have lots of celebrating planned for YOU and Winston-Salem!

So Happy Birthday KK.... can I have a BOCCD (Bag of Chocolate Covered Doughnuts)?

Sweet! Got a Krispy Kreme a block or few away.. Got that ad a month ago.

The question is.. Is there a limit on how much I could buy?

Every time there's one of these deals posted I become fixated on eating doughnuts. Will be dreaming about them tonight for sure.

Awesome deal! It just sucks that the closest store is almost an hour away from me, but yet the factory is only 2 miles down the road...damn it and I really looking forward to seeing my hubby's face when I came home with 2 dozen doughnuts after he just started his diet Monday ;)

Is this deal only good at Krispy Kreme stores? The nearest one to me is 50 miles away, but lots of grocery stores and service stations get daily deliveries.

All the Krispy Kreme's in the area have closed down. The closest one is an hour and a half drive away.

July 13th only?!? Ugh!!!!

@missellienc: Vernon Carver Rudolph, the founder of Krispy Kreme, was involved with a Broad Street doughnut shop in Paducah purchased by his uncle (circa 1933). Rudolph turned the company’s assets and the rights to a secret yeast-raised doughnut recipe into Krispy Kreme in Winston- Salem, NC. Ironically, Paducah has never had a franchised Krispy Kreme. Local doughnut shops have served similar doughnuts in Paducah since World War II

There is only one KK in the state of Maryland, and it is nowhere near me. -_-

It's times like these that I'm thankful I live in NC.

Thanks, OP!

Thank goodness the closest one to me is over 20 miles away. Otherwise I'd hit up 3 of them and kill myself with donuts over the next 24 hours..

@adam113089: By the two dozens and give one dozen to the folks standing behind you in line.

Just don't let them see you lick them first.

For anyone in the Los Angeles area you can always hit up Kindle's for better (and bigger and cheaper) donuts right near the intersection of the 110 and 105. Their glazed buttermilk loaf is possibly the pinnacle of donut perfection. I go there every time I drive to/from LAX...and it's not dark out.

This makes me glad there isn't a Krispy Kreme within 2 hours of where I'm at. Donuts are horrible for you..

Ugh! Now I want a donut!! Don't mention yummy foods to a pregnant lady!!!

Yay, we haven't gotten doughnuts in a while, and my kids love Krispy Kreme. This will make a nice surprise today!

Friday the 13th doughnut special...watch out for black cats...and guys in hockey masks!

Wait, wait, wait. Krispy Kreme is still in business?!

There is one about a mile from my house so I stopped by today on my way to work and brought in two dozen donuts for my co-workers.

vote-for1vote-against

Gah! No locations near me. If there were, I'd be having doughnuts tonight.

Almost got raided on my way OUT of there! We have ONE in town here (in FL) and it's open late... Got 4 dozen donuts (3 plain/glazed, 1 mixed since they ran out of glazed!) and dropped 2 dozen off at the local hospital where the bf works. People helping other people need that sugary goodness more than the greedy folks behind me in line! :)
