@rustybender: I can't answer for @fit410s, but I don't work for any company that sells Vibram's. I flat out love them! And before anyone talks about how ugly they are (if they haven't already), I agree. They are not the most attractive shoe made; they are the most comfortable. Peace.

@fit410s: Don't bother with those guys for sizing ;) We've got a sizing video on each product page, plus all of the sizing charts you'll need to make sure your foot matches up to the correct size!

I'm really sad I couldn't a pair of these :( by the time I got on they were all sold out in my size. Sometimes I hate having small feet...

@brandygabel: yeah if the size is perfect then there is no room for toe socks. they are not needed, but some people need to wear the socks to avoid chafing , or to reduce smell

if its just a blister on one spot you can take an old sock and cut a piece out and put it in the vibram

@jockovonred: and other people with small feet. That "other store" that was mentioned and that I happen to love has some really small ones on sale for $55.93. Not as good as LeftLane, but still better than retail.

I've been running in Vibrams for a year and a half. I put about 700 miles on my first pair before I wore holes in the soles. They lasted just under a year. I'm now on my second pair (both are VFF Sprints).

I do believe they do what they claim to do. They allow the foot to move as close as possible to the way were evolved to move, while providing some limited protection from sharp objects, etc.

You're less prone to injury and chronic impact related conditions with barefoot or minimal shoe running. That said, a research suggests you're at higher risk of Achilles tendonitis when transitioning. I've developed a case myself, but believe it's worth the tradeoff of diminished risk for several other conditions.

As an aside: During the summer I'm also an avid kayaker. Vibrams make getting out of the boat onto smooth, wet rocks a lot easier / safer. Way better than barefoot, and they deal with water well. I love mine.

They have size 11 in KSO and Trek, just picked up a pair myself.

@joesteel88: I found them in the Trek sport (I have 10 1/4 inch feet swhich equates to size 40.

would love to try these out, but my feet are literally 2 different sizes. There is an inch difference in between them, which translates to 2 different sizes. so if i went w/ the longer foot, it would be to big on the other foot.

@styloroc: I think they look cool. Makes you look like a warrior. Also since they are sooooo healthy for the body, who really cares what they look like if they solve medical problems.

@tweezak: Looks like their sale is on through next friday, so you've got some time to try them on somewhere. Their return policy is 30 days, you pay to ship back, but free ship for exchange pair back to you.

I think if your toes aren't odd lengths (i.e. 2nd toe close in size to big, and the rest trail off) the fitting guide is pretty dead on (was for me). From what I've read, if you seem in between sizes go for the one smaller.

Other general tips for these: Keep toenails trimmed well, and resolve to get sore calves and blisters if you don't do some proper breaking in (wearing/running in small intervals for a few weeks).

@fit410s my feet are also wide, so I just go for the longer foot. It's an inch longer. Going to an REI to see what they say about the sizing.

Ok so I placed an order, pressed submit after entering all my payment information and it sent me back to the main page. No confirmation or anything. Did my order go through? Did it not? I don't want my size to sell out but I don't want two pairs!
