Could be a great deal. Lots of restrictions, of course, but looks like it's good on any video games and media.

vote-for8vote-against

Computers, Laptops, Chromebooks, etc. do not look to be excluded. Great deal if looking for a lower priced model.

vote-for8vote-against

Look like you still can use this coupon with:

Laptop
Tablet

vote-for8vote-against

are gift cards a valid purchase? they do not look to be excluded

vote-for3vote-against

'' Portable Electronics''....and Laptops and tablets would not be considered Portable Electronics ?!?!?

vote-for9vote-against

@bluemidget That's a list of items excluded, meaning you can't use the coupon on them. So laptops and tablets are portable electronics, but they're not among the portable electronics excluded.

vote-for8vote-against

Argh... Can we have a Legal Expert translate the small print in that coupon???
Just spent 20 minutes reviewing the details.... Looks to exclude specific manufacturers products but is so generally written that other items might be included..

vote-for21vote-against

This says nothing about gift cards...is it wrong to buy 100 dollars worth of gift cards and then use the gift cards to buy an item that was mentioned as ineligible for this promotion?

vote-for1vote-against

Under phones it has 'gaming hardware'. This is confusing to me. 1) Gaming hardware for phones? 2) is this meant to exclude all gaming hardware or just for phones? (Non-existant?)

$50 off $100 purchase at Best Buy.

Excluding Best Buy Purchases.

vote-for4vote-against

Does not look like it excludes gift cards???? But they might pull tht card after you have driven to the store

Looks good I can think of lots of things that this coupon could be used for !

vote-for4vote-against

Nice find. Lots of exclusions, yes, but that's to be expected on such a large discount, and there are still plenty of things it can be used on. Looks like I'll be heading over today to pick up a Yamaha sound bar I've had my eyes on. Might print off a second and head over later in the week to grab some 360 games.

vote-for7vote-against

@danman1202: Excellent point... I have to say this is the FIRST coupon like this that I've EVER seen that doesn't explicitly say 'not valid on purchases of gift cards'. However, I doubt they would honor it. Worth a try maybe. Anyone out there try this? Also does not exclude iTunes cards that I can see...

vote-for7vote-against

As far as I can tell now's the time to buy that 2T hard drive. Right?

vote-for8vote-against

The Gift Card option would be the best bet if allowed... Buy the $100.00 Gift card with $50.00 Off and then buy what ever you want no restrictions...

vote-for3vote-against

@scubalab: Yeah I could see a Best Buy cashier (and then manager) giving you crap about it, but there's nothing listed. It's probably a YMMV type of deal, some stores will be okay with it, others will have managers on power trips who will stop you.

vote-for4vote-against

@dc7707: There's a semicolon right before that, so "gaming hardware" is the next category after "Phones," and it appears to mean all gaming hardware, period.

Edit: On second thought, the coupon itself has Phones in bold, then Geek Squad in bold, making it look like "gaming hardware is under the Phones category, but there is that semicolon so I'm not so sure.

vote-for7vote-against

Someone please post if they were able to purchase a gift card with this coupon. I'd rather not go out if it won't work. It's -11 degrees here.

vote-for11vote-against

Going to BestBuy with your VISA card for a Mastercard Promo.....

Priceless.

I guess that Discover card won't help me either. Kudos to all you MC holders.

vote-for1vote-against

I'm going to try and get a gift card with my MasterCard debt card

vote-for0vote-against

@danman1202: You are sooooo RIGHT! They are N-O-T going to give you half off...c'Mon...this is Best Buy where they will NOT let you leave without buying the overpriced extended warranty on everything...home of BAIT ANT SWITCH.

vote-for6vote-against

I was just thinking I was going to have to miss out on this one since my debit and credit cards are Visa, but then I remembered my PayPal debit card is MasterCard. I'll try the gift card route later today and report back.

vote-for4vote-against

@zappaman1999: YMMV on the value of an extended warranty. I just got my second Android with the 2-year extended warranty from them; the first one paid for itself with three no-questions replacements. Peace of mind is also a valuable commodity. Although, with their exemptions in this deal, looks like you might be hard-pressed to find something eligible for an extended warranty! Good deal if you are piling up on media and games at market prices.

vote-for0vote-against

You can NOT buy gift cards with this coupon. Coupons never work that way. Its a nice thought but it wont work

vote-for-5vote-against

@stumpy91: You can not get gift cards with this promo

vote-for7vote-against

They should really just include a list of items that you CAN buy since that list is significantly shorter.

vote-for12vote-against

DO NOT CALL AND ASK ABOUT GIFT CARDS!!!!!!!!!

Go to the store and argue the terms on the coupon once there.

vote-for5vote-against

@kramer55555: Not true. It's not excluded so you can buy them. You couldn't buy BB gift cards, but other retailers should be a go.

vote-for3vote-against

I don't see where its says anything about video games, So I could essentially get a two for one!

vote-for6vote-against

It says "No Copies" will they consider a printed out coupon a copy?

vote-for11vote-against

@kramer55555 Have you tried to get a gift card and been told you can't? Or are you just assuming?

vote-for8vote-against

Confirmed you can purchase amazon gift cards, Just had one of my buddies do it.

It does not say gift card exclusion, so feel free to rack up the gift cards.

This was in the VA Beach best buy.

vote-for3vote-against

What the hell is a MasterCard?

vote-for4vote-against

Also, to clarify.

YOU CANNOT PURCHASE SAMSUNG TVS, OR SONY TVS. ALL OTHERS ARE UP FOR GRABS.

vote-for2vote-against

I was looking at TV's and noticed that everything was priced higher this week. This must be why, lol. Looking at the TV I wanted, it would come out to around the same price if I bought it with the card. Oh well...

vote-for3vote-against

Just went to best buy to try and buy Kindle Gift Cards. They said this was all over the internet so you had to have the actual email to show them. They seemed fine with the Kindle Gift Cards though. Of course I did not have the email and was not able to go through with it.

vote-for7vote-against

Printed one out from the link, walked in, grabbed a new gigabit router and an Otterbox for my phone... They scanned it, checked to see if my card was a MasterCard - that was it. Walked out having spent less than the original price of the router! Pretty sweet deal!

vote-for5vote-against

so can someone forward me the email lol?

vote-for3vote-against

No "gaming hardware," I was hoping to pick up a 3DS.

vote-for2vote-against

can have someone forward you the email?

vote-for8vote-against

I just successfully used the coupon printed from the link above to purchase $100 worth of Kindle / Amazon gift cards. Cashier didn't even question it.

vote-for3vote-against

I wonder if I can use my $20 rewardzone credit, with it as well?

vote-for6vote-against

Just use the link as proof on your smart phone. Also, the coupon doesn't say email only exclusive. Come on deals.wooters; use those debating skills!!!

vote-for2vote-against

Comment follows from another site, it looks like it's a valid coupon but only certain customers/stores.
I have decided to remove the links to this coupon. When I first posted, I assumed this coupon was valid for everyone since it was emailed out to various customers with the same barcode and didn't state one-time use. However, after reading the comments it sounds like this may not be the case and may be limited to certain stores and/or certain customers.

vote-for5vote-against

What about a MasterCard debit card?

vote-for4vote-against

@wooter2013: I gave no form of BestBuy reward zone info or anything. It scanned in and added the discount with no question. Just make sure to take in a printed page.
