Ordered 2 Black Cartridges and 2 Color cartridges for my Lexmark X4550.

The color cartridges result in an error on the printer, indicating the cartridge is incorrect. I have a regular lexmark cartridge and it works perfectly fine, so I know it's not the heads. I went on the website to verify that I ordered the correct cartridges, which I certainly did.

I've e-mailed customer service to see what they're going to do. Will update once I hear from them.

@mrzman: In fairness, he did say "non-OEM" cartridges. It looks like they only offer OEM units for that model.

You're pretty sure you're going to like it when you hand over your money, but a couple of weeks down the road you'll likely have regrets.

@mrzman: Please let us know which Dell product so we can double check our prices. Our non-OEM should not be the same price as Dell brand. We will certainly value your input and meanwhile, we will look in to this.

For mine (Dell) this is an okay deal for color - $3 off - but for black it's the same price to buy it directly from Dell, I guess I could use the 5% coupon to save 80 cents. But if these are as bad as the last non-OEM cartridges I bought, it's not worth it.

I found my toner for 47 bucks, compared to 75 at the store and 59 at an online retailer I frequent, so I am pretty happy. I bought one of each color, so I ended up saving over 30 bucks, and shipping was free.

The 75% applies in comparison to full price of the branded inks/toners. The hook is the 75% with an extra %5 via the coupon, then a further discount depending on what you spend.

It is worth pricing this around.

I'm not sure where the 75% applies but the toner I need was only 5% off after using the coupon code. No thanks.

I still get cartridges cheaper at http://www.houseofinks.com, always w/free shipping, at least for my printer (Epson RX595).

Sadly, this doesn't make the ink for my specific printer any less expensive than just getting cartridges refilled. YMMV.
