SnūzNLūz - Wifi Donation Alarm Clock for $39.99
Wake up to the smell of...Animosity...
Connects via WiFi to your online bank account, and donates YOUR real money to an organization you HATE when you decide to snooze!
Wasn't this an old april fool's item?
oh, this is NUTS!! I love it!! But with my sleeping habits, there is NO WAY I'm getting one of these...I would be broke in a week!!
it is...and its not a real item...click on buy one and it tells you so...
Most awesome product EVAR!!1! Voting it up!
Extra points for funny!
Actually the most surprising bit is that the GOP is a non-profit organization; they seem insanely profitable from my perspective. That said, I'd rather buy the alarm clock that runs away from you to make you get out of bed to hit the snooze.
@lparsons42: we have one of those. it works exactly as advertised.
The RNC is $23M in debt. I guess every penny helps.
@lparsons42: "Non-Profit." It's for tax breaks. Those rich, selfish slugs...
Uh, this isn't real.
@stave177: you have to go deeper
@stave177: you have to go deeper
THATS WHAT SHE SAID
I'm cool with assault rifles, lingere, bags of crap and the like...
But, this item has [and will] never exist :)
It's like posting an idea...
It's like posting "World Peace for $1.00 + free shipping" heh...
(although, as guess it's not as bad as all of the DOA deals that make it through :D...)
Oh and not to mention this is an APRIL FOOLS JOKE.
Premature e-joke-ulation. Heyyoooo!
Bottom of item description:
"Really Fine Print: ThinkGeek reserves the right to take up to a 50% commision on all donations made through the SnūzNLūz. In fact the software supplied with the clock ensures such is the case. Yay!. However, we promise to only use the money for rockets and beach front property."
lol, I had a feeling this would make it to popular deal. In a way I find that very amusing. (Still voted for it myself because of the previously stated lulz.)
@adshahs: what a bunch of crooks.
They had a bunch of funny stuff that made it to popular last APEFOOL's... 'twas a good year for fake technology.
I liked the e-ink tattoo :)
(and the iPad arcade/iCade seemed like it actually should have been real heh... I think it actually is, now)
[edit]
Yup. 3 seconds and Google popped this out for me...

Wtf? Posting april fools item not on april fools?
Someone is truly a fool...
At least post the good tattoo e-ink one.
I love the fine print "Really Fine Print: ThinkGeek reserves the right to take up to a 50% commision on all donations made through the SnūzNLūz. In fact the software supplied with the clock ensures such is the case. Yay!. However, we promise to only use the money for rockets and beach front property."
I thought to myself when I saw this "Don't most people use eir cell phones instead?", saw it was fake, and now think someone should make a real cell phone app out of it. But send the 50% my was since I thought it up.
@shyguy91284: Cool spelling
Psychologist by profession, I used such a technique to get a severe procrasitnator to finish her dissertation. Honor system, not tech involved, but it worked. Deets? Very liberal, no work on dissertation in 15 min, a $1 bill went into an envelope mailed to the KKK once/month. Took about $15 to get her moving forward regularly. Yep, she finished.
original poster of this deal is an april TOOL.
@kamikazeken: The OP of this deal got his stats up, however. ho ho ho.
