Features: AS SEEN ON TV!

So you know it's good!

I totally thought this was one of those floating pool chairs when I saw the thumbnail.

vote-for11vote-against

I wonder if we can downvote this past the level of Netflix. Doubt it.

It is off to a splendid start though.

vote-for17vote-against

bought this something like 2-4 years ago from a deal-a-day-site for the same price. It's pretty lame I must say...

You would think that it gives you some kind of back support but even the instructions tell you that it ain't so

vote-for82vote-against

Just do crunches; they are free.

vote-for21vote-against

You know it's good, because I saw them at 3 of every 5 yardsales this weekend.

vote-for13vote-against

At the store the price of $50 would be outrageous, on Woot it's just ridiculous.
It seems like it's something worth $15, maybe...

vote-for16vote-against

The Ab Rocket Abdominal Trainer, soon to be seen in Bags of Crap across the land.

vote-for17vote-against

Fun fact: This is one of only three deals ever sold by sellout.woot to be in the negatives. Wow.

vote-for19vote-against

Seeing the votes, I hear the classic submarine call from some movie....

DIVE! DIVE! DIVE!

vote-for6vote-against

Most of your exercise benefit will come from getting up and down from the floor.

vote-for7vote-against

always wanted to try one of these, just reminded me of this fact.

so i checked it out. looks like a neighbors got one up for sale. 10 bucks. LOL

since he hates it so much he is willing to take a loss. i think i will go with that one.

vote-for6vote-against

I always want these crappy ab things, since my back doesn't really let me do non-supported crunches.

Sadly none of them actually support you.

vote-for4vote-against

For that hoarder in your life who doesn't have enough impractical, twice-used crap piled up at home.

vote-for9vote-against

Yikes! Downvoted even more than the Crocs! This is approaching a TravelZoo realm of negativity.

Looks like a Woot! buyer is cleaning up the monkey poop today for totally misjudging this site's audience..

vote-for6vote-against

I pulled one of these out of my neighbor's garbage last year, turns out I shoulda left in there. Hurts my back, crunches seem to work better.

vote-for47vote-against

On the bright side, Woot! Headquarters will probably have enough of these left over to cobble together as a conveyor belt to expedite order processing.

vote-for10vote-against

I've had one of these things sitting in my basement for years and it's done nothing to improve my abs.
Buyer beware!

vote-for3vote-against

It is comfortable enough to use as a chair to relax in while watching TV?

vote-for7vote-against

Wow! My own personal rollercoaster seat and 4 ft of track!

vote-for9vote-against

Just remember: Great abs start in your kitchen.

Coming soon - to a Bifurcated Odiferous Cantaloupe near you!

vote-for9vote-against

55 bucks for a beach chair - and it's not even equipped with a cup holder? No thanks.

vote-for3vote-against

Will they accept my old ab roller as an even trade?

vote-for3vote-against

I know what we'll be seeing in the next Wootoff. Remind me not to try for a BOC for the next year.

vote-for5vote-against

@thunderthighs: Bahaha every time I see that I think of Down Periscope.

Rig for dive! 10 degrees down bubble!

vote-for4vote-against

@cappomutato: We would be so lucky if it was in a BOC. Most likely it will be the longest Wootoff killer in recent memory.

vote-for9vote-against

$49.99 is a lot of money to pay for sit-ups and something that won't even count as a clothes hanger! Sorry Woot, I rarley down-vote your deals, but this one has earned my negative!

vote-for3vote-against

Enjoy your lower back exerciser.

vote-for5vote-against

I've found an ab ball to best for situps/crunchs. I doubt this gadget can do better.

vote-for4vote-against

I got ripped abs over the last 6 months. Just stop eating wheat, soy, and HFCS. Lost 15 pounds that I could never before and felt so much more energy that I started doing push ups, pull ups, and sit ups. Since I am lighter they don't hurt my back anymore. lol

vote-for7vote-against

Crunches don't burn belly fat. You're better off eating right and doing interval training than any ab exercise. Who cares if you have a six-pack if it's under 2 inches of fat.

vote-for8vote-against

In reply to Pjfavia ^: Nothing "burns belly fat." You only burn fat in general. Spot/targeting fat is totally a myth and it's just a matter of losing weight until that layer of fat happens to be thin enough to show the muscles underneath.

But then what crunches do, do is firm/tone the muscle underneath and bring the size of your belly down by holding in your guts tighter.

vote-for1vote-against

This is pretty cool. I wonder if it could be used as a beach chair. I could get a workout while enjoying the sun, sand and fresh air.

vote-for4vote-against

Oh well, as long as you include a sarcastic writeup admitting that what you're selling is a scam then that's all right then.

Fraud isn't fraud if you put the word "sponsored" next to something!

vote-for-13vote-against

What's with all the hating on this item?

It's half the price it's usually sold for, probably because the company is making room for the Ab Rocket Plus. (with the seat that spins for additional workout features)
If I had an extra 50 bucks today I would certainly snag this right up!

vote-for4vote-against

For a 6pack or 8pack - forget these gimmicks and forget doing a million crunches; 6packs/8packs are made in the kitchen then the gym. If you don't have the diet down 1st aka a lean/paleo diet IMO; then you are simply wasting your time.

While getting your diet down; my advice would be to do the ab ripperx 3x a week; in 90 days (seriously) you'll be the envy of everyone; especially your friends and spouse/loved ones! As the great ones say...I LIFT THINGS UP AND PUT THEM DOWN!

vote-for2vote-against

The best ab exercise I know avoids the back strain of sit-ups/crunches. Lay on your back and bend your legs so that your knees are straight up and your feet are stretched out parallel to the ground (2 90 degree angles). Now gently press both hands against your knees and up while engaging your core. Hold this for as long as you can - as your abs burn. To get side abs, cross your hands - left hand on right knee and right hand on left knee. Repeat. Don't forget to breathe.

vote-for4vote-against

I think i'm witnessing record breaking down-votes on this.

Truefact: Crunches are FREE!

vote-for2vote-against

@pjfavia: I want awesome abs, even if they're under 2 inches of fat. They're not just for showing off dude. They protect your abdominal cavity, and the precious organs within, plus they play a role in many daily and athletic activities.
Also, don't buy this. Do some crunches.

vote-for5vote-against

@podquard: yes! what is wrong with the woot community? how do they not see that my company's, ehm... this product rocks? I wish I had 2 million dollars right now because I want to buy forty thousand of them. You may ask "why?" and my reply is "why not?" It is almost as good as ab rocket, which is another product by our ehm ... this lovely company, and it is half the shameless price tag we, ehm ... they normally charge people! Yay!
