There aren't alkaline.

These are the same Zinc-carbon batteries that keep popping up.. They're pretty bad. They're weak and don't last very long..

"Long Life" and "Heavy Duty" are just polite ways of saying "Hey, we're not very good but we have a cool name."

No, that means they're good for things that are low draw and aren't always on like a TV remote or smoke alarm
They aren't meant for toys or cameras and whatnot

Radio Shack has their 36 packs of good alkaline batteries on sale for 10 dollars all the time. I love their batteries. Price to performance you really can't beat it.

Don't waste you moolah. Two of these batteries in my Nikon digital camera will only take two pictures . . then, 'BATTERIES EXHAUSTED'. Not even worth the five bucks!!!
