USB 2.0 at that capacity is just too slow. I refuse to get a flash drive larger than 32GB unless it's USB 3.0 because copying large quantities of files would take HOURS on anything less vs. 15 minutes on USB 3.0.

I bought this (from Newegg via deals.woot) several months ago for right around $32. I've been very happy with it. I use it every day at work and have used it several time to move around large files to take advantage of the fast USB3.0 transfer speeds. If I had any need at all right now I'd pick up a second one.

I have owned this drive for a little under a year now and I can confirm that it is great. Read/Write speeds are fantastic, I can guarantee they are low-balling the statistics on newegg. The cap still fits after almost daily use during the year. Formatted to roughly 29.6gb so not a huge loss. I also have dropped it a good four feet with no damage. I've run material off the drive for 2-3 hours at a time without any heat problems.

Great deal! Now I just need a USB 3.0 Port...

Two with free shipping came out to $41.58 for me. That's a pretty good deal to me.

@robineye06: your the one that called a product atrocious just because it dosn't suit your needs. I was just letting people know options out there. Most computers aren't even capable of handling USB 3.0 yet making the speeds of the product worthless. Should I call it atrocious too?

I'm in for one, i was recently pulling my hair out waiting for 12 gigs to copy over to my old thumb drive. If all goes well, this should help me keep what hair I have left.

@robineye06: @zlassiter: Let's just agree that it's apples to oranges. One's USB2.0 and one's USB3.0. Both obviously have their advantages, so let's not argue about which is better. Everyone has their own needs and opinions.

I really wanted to bite on this, but there are just a few too many reviews stating they overheat and had to be returned, lost data, etc. My search for a reliable, cheap, 32GB+, USB 3.0 drive continues...

the read write is atrocious compared to the 50mbps you could copy your 32gb 4 times=128 gb of data transferred before you got your 64gb filled once

@robineye06: not everyone needs fast read/write :)

its backwards compatible, just called the transfer rates atrocious as a 7mbps is pretty slow no offense intended forgot about how touchy the internet can be haha over all great deals if you want super fast 32gb of transfer bam thats what ya need if you could careless about transfer speed up to 64 gb spend the extra 9 bucks both are ridiculously lower then when i bought my 128mb years ago for 60 bucks on sale!
