@onic: You did post a cheap HDMI cable however the one posted isn't a typical HDMI cable, it has RedMere technology so you cannot compare the two. There is a difference.

@wicked1: What is "RedMere technology"? It's marketing BS if you can't explain it.
@onic: The difference appears to be the 'VW-1' UL fire rating. Fire ratings on other products do tend to increase price, so, if that is important and sufficient to your needs, this may be a good price.

@loadrunner: Based on what I'm reading, it looks like the "RedMere technology" is some sort of signal booster or signal processor. So no, it isn't just a normal HDMI cable since it has that in it.
Of course, at this length all it's really doing is letting them use cheaper wires inside the cable and charge a premium for it, so it still kind of is just marketing.

@loadrunner: I didn't feel that I need to explain it since I'm not selling it. If it's something you feel you want to know more about do some research. I was just pointing out the fact that it wasn't just a basic HDMI cable.
