Got mine! Site seemed bogged down and went really slow but it eventually went through.

vote-for0vote-against

It's unlimited, works, keep on getting 'em :)

It's gone - "Sorry but this was either really popular or like all good things... has come to an end. Click below to check out the latest ways to spend your points."

This was awesome. I got 72 cases of Coke for free. I found this on SlickDeals initially and came to post here but it already was. Yay Coke!

vote-for25vote-against

@michrick - Thanks for being greedy and ruining it for the rest of us.

vote-for1vote-against

I guess they changed it so you have to have 240 coke points to get the 12 pack now?

vote-for1vote-against

You have to have enough Coke points now.

vote-for1vote-against

Said free still, but took 240 points out of my account. Damn.

vote-for1vote-against

@gmartell: 5 - 6 weeks? They've always emailed coupons to me. Is Coca Cola still using dialup?

Also, everyone should keep in mind that a free 12-pack ($6.00 +/-) is 240 points, and a $10 gift code at many online retailers is only 200 points. Look at some of the stores participating - there may be something there you would rather have than Coke.

vote-for5vote-against

Because I am a cheap bastard, I must point out that this isn't the best deal for the points though.

12 cans @ 12 ounces each = 144 ounces for 240 points.

1 bottle @ 20 ounces each = 20 ounces for 30 points x 8 = 160 ounces for 240 points.

But it is worse for the environment because there is more paper printed for the coupons and plastic to recycle instead of aluminum.

I also think that the coupons will probably not be mailed in one envelope so that means there would be eight stamps purchased so that keeps Postman Pat employed.

It makes it easier to give as a stocking stuffer too. Put that in your Christmas Club account and smoke it.

@edison234: Oh wait... the coupon can be used for 16 and 24 ounce bottles too.

As for Christmas, the expiration is three months from redemption. Sorry I didn't get that specific but maybe we can have some harmony on this...

@professore: You might be able to find the 12 packs for $2.50 each when you buy four at Kroger. Even less of a deal other than the fact it is free.

vote-for3vote-against

@edison234: This week at Harris Teeter Coke 12-packs are Buy 2 get 3 Free! That's $5.49 x 2 = $10.98 / 5 = $2.19 ea.

That's the best deal I've ever seen without snagging some off a display outside the Texaco that one time when I was 14 and then they turned out tasting like ass because they had been sitting in the sun for who knows how long.

I feel bad about the thieving now. I wish it had been a BP...

I bet @michrick dresses head to toe in Ed Hardy.

vote-for1vote-against

I wonder if they are going to honor those that clicked it before it went to 240 points...or if they are just going to claim a typo?

vote-for3vote-against

@pxb006: He wasn't greedy, you were just slow! :-P

vote-for1vote-against

Just for the record, Coke does this every few months and has a set time they have it open, not amount of coupons. So, despite your inspiring comments - I got free Coke :-)

vote-for1vote-against

@edison234: Postman Pat, and his black-and-white cat (named Jess if I remember right) :D

vote-for1vote-against

Doesn't work. It's not free costs points. This was a waste of my time.

vote-for1vote-against

Just did it. I got mine! Thanks!

vote-for0vote-against

This isn't a real deal. You have to buy quite a few Coke products in order to get 240 points. Woot shouldn't allow programs like this on their site, it should be deleted completely.

vote-for2vote-against

At the time this was posted, it was 100% free. The fact that they made it cost points now isn't the OP's fault.

@shark131: Don't tell him to walk into traffic. That is a very selfish way to commit suicide. Think about the emotional scarring that the poor driver who hits him will receive. It won't be the drivers' fault, but he will run that scene over in his mind for years to come.

He probably won't be able to get behind the wheel of a car again, thus severely limiting his options in life. His personal relationships will never be the same again, having see the fleeting transience of life, what would be the point of feeling closeness with anybody ever again? I hope he doesn't have kids, because they will undoubtedly need therapy shortly afterward.

In summary, don't walk into traffic @michrick. Consider some alternate pennance, like walking to a park and giving out the sodas you received to thirsty people for free. Or donate them to a homeless shelter, orphanage, or little-league baseball team. Maybe do a couple hours of volunteer work while you're at it.

@michrick: Go home. You're no longer welcome here.

No one got more than one, Coke canceled everyone's orders. Have fun with your 71 cases of nothing.

One (or more) of the coupons you recently redeemed on our site was offered for 0 points (rather than the correct redemption value of 30 or 240 points). Under the Terms and Conditions of our program,
The Coca-Cola Company is not responsible for such technical errors, and we have therefore cancelled your redemption. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and are mailing you a gift of one FREE 12 pack coupon to express our appreciation for your continued loyalty.
