Very nice mouse, great for gaming. I have had one of these for over a year, and it has never failed me, the only thing i don't like about it is that It won't work on a glass surface, but that is something i didn't expect it to do, so no real complaint there. Battery life, while not quite the 8 months they talk about, is still multiple months, and since i'm almost always on my computer (around 8 hours a day usually) it is expected that it would be less than what the average user would get out of it. So far the only surface it hasn't worked on for me has been a glass desktop that we have, I've even used it on carpet (difficult, but works). Another nice thing about it is that when the battery does start to die it has a small light on the top that will pulse red, so it never just dies without you knowing about it. It's amazingly accurate and great for first person shooters.

i paid around $30-40 when i bought it and i would gladly pay that much again for how reliable it is.

I will add that i would prefer the usb plug in was a little smaller, or that it was bluetooth, but i knew both of these when i bought the mouse and that is fine with me. Also, i have larger hands and this mouse fits my hand perfectly.

EDIT: I just thought I'd mention that it is refurbished, since the op didn't.
