But that's a total of 3... I'm not sure I can find the free time for ONE new video game! =O

All I can say is careful ordering older/rarer used games from Best Buy. I've had two separate experiences where I was excited to find a used copy only to have the order languish and the company FINALLY admit the item never existed in the first place.

At the very least, DO babysit your order and make sure the item is progressing through the shipment phases. Best Buy will always make things right if you ask on the forums (customer service form is useless, forums are the way to go), but they will never take the initiative to make anything right.

@starmandeluxe: I have had good luck with Best Buy, but have had a couple of orders canceled. When they canceled them, I was given a $5 gift card without asking (of course I was not charged for the order either). I can't say if they were new or used games, but I do recall they were cheap games (less than $10).

Best buy supports Hamas. Buy purchasing their products you are in a way supporting terrorists. Speak with your money that is one way to change a cooperation.

@zauce: I'm sure it's possible, but usually when I hear things like that, it turns out that some employee did something outside the scope of the corporation. Any facts to back up your claim?

@zauce: No, Best Buy does not support Hamas. Best Buy donates to CAIR. CAIR supposedly has ties to Hamas. Using that connection to suggest that Best Buy supports Hamas would be like suggesting that you support drug trafficking because the guy you pay to mow your lawn also buys pot.

anyone got a link to this that doesn't go through some worthless referrer? Not sure who "www.anrdoezrs.net" is but it's blocked through the websense filter so I can't get to the deal :/

@teufelaffe: Well, I am not a big fan of CAIR (from the little I know), so that does concern me a little...

@omnihilo: The link goes straight to Best Buy as far as I can tell. I posted it directly from the Best Buy site and did not link there from anywhere else. It may be something on your end or something Woot is doing.

@zauce: No, Best Buy does not support Hamas. Best Buy supports CAIR. The Council on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR) is America's largest Muslim civil liberties advocacy organization that deals with civil advocacy and promotes human rights.

@giantmarmot: While i'm sure there are some positive aspects to CAIR, they seem to have a lot of ties to problematic and unsavory things - perhaps it is coincidental, but there seems to be a lot of smoke for there not to be any fire.

In the end, though, I don't think this has much bearing on my shopping at Best Buy. If I were to select stores based on how they donate, etc., i'm sure I could find a problem with any store/corporation that exists. I do not feel like going back to the 19th century and making and growing all my own stuff.
