Well that was painful....between hang time and 503 server errors it took me almost 40 minutes to buy it.
@jbw072287: My first experience with Starbucks eGift Cards was when I won a $25 "card." I wanted to give it as a gift, so I took it to my local Starbucks and they transferred my printed card to a real card of my choosing. I imagine if you showed the printed one when you made a purchase you could ask them to put the balance onto a regular card. I think it has to have at least a $5 value left, but I'm not sure. Another thing to note is that I was told you have to make the transaction at a company store and not a franchise (like ones inside grocery stores).
I see a venti Mocha-nut in my future!
Also, to anyone having crashing issues, I've had to go through Error 503 a few times before I got to the page where it confirmed my offer, but alas, I have the eGift card now. (It did not charge my credit card multiple times, as far as I know. )
@jbw072287: It's a $10 gift card. They give you a gift card code as well as a bar code, which you give in-store.
It's essentially a gift card that you pay for and then print out.
website keeps crashing, just gotta keep trying a couple times, it showed up after i tried twice, not sure if it was because of the first one or the second...
It took about 2 minutes to process after "purchase pending" button to confirm and get my voucher.
Do you have to spend the whole thing in one visit or do you carry a balance like a gift card. It makes it seem more like a $10 coupon than a gift card.
Page wont load for me. I imagine they are just getting overloaded.
Am I the only one who cant get this to work?
@mattysc: Me too! I'm gonna try their Pumpkin Spice Latte. I have a feeling it'll super-sugary like their Frappucinos, but it's worth a shot at the very least.
Yeah, definitely in for a cup!
