I've needed a new keyboard for a while and getting a Das Keyboard for less than a benjamin is pretty enticing.

I'm going to wait and see if anyone else finds any good planks worth considering before I pull the trigger.

Having recently made the transition from poor student to professional software engineer, I've been looking for a good entry level mechanical keyboard to see if I prefer the feel. Is there a particular model or type of switch that would be good for primarily coding, but also good for gaming?

@bryanake: Good question. You should ask it over in the community forum; there are a number of techie types. As for me, I've always been fond of the slim, low profile keyboards.

I filtered by "wireless keyboard", then price [low to high]. First 16 KBs all had shipping. I was willing to pay shipping for BT and good reviews ;^)
