This is probably the cheapest way to get someone into a SSD. Plenty big enough for a boot drive, and then some.

@firebirdude: yes I figured for that price I would try it.

I'd go with the 120gb version for $70 (after MIR (OCZ rebates aren't bad at all)) instead.

After Windows takes up 20gb, you're not going to be left with a lot of space to install games and programs on the 60gb version.

Not vouching for this drive but if you want it you should buy it Asap. It's their leading shell shocker deal of the day and sometimes those sellout. Only $10 off but still its a good price.

Quite a good deal. There's a standard availability of 32 GB SSDs on ebay for $40, so $45 for 60 GB is nice.

@Bmason: That 120 GB drive has an awful lot of negative reviews, with many people reporting it as unreliable with little to no help from OCZ. Not something I'd recommend people take a shot on.

@jdevenberg:

It's the same agility 3 as this one except it's 120gb...

Also the reviews on Newegg aren't bad atall, especially recent reviews after OCZ's firmware update.

FWIW, I've been running an "older series" Vertex 3 SSD for a year and a half without a hiccup. No firmware updates or anything. If it ain't broke, I ain't fixin it

As a heads-up, this is a 2.5" form factor, if you're getting this for a desktop you'll probably need an adapter to fit it in a 3.5" bay.
