Same price at CompUSA, in case you have that store locally but not CC. Both stores have 10% BCB as well (if you order online, of course). Dunno if you can order online for store pickup to save shipping costs like with Best Buy, but thought I'd mention it.

As with alot of these "great deals", they are all Bait and Switch selling tactics. Nothing new, but always illegal, impossible to prove.

@rocam81: There was no bait & switch. The item sold out. Hence the tombstone on the deal listing here. It's standard business procedure to reserve only so many units for sales. Whether their inventory was depleted or just the number reserved for the sale, both are unknown and irrelevant: The deal is over when they say it's over. To the best of my recollection, I believe it was a 48-hour sale anyway.

In the future note the tombstone next to listings. Dead sales don't get unposted, they get tombstoned.

This looks like it does about what my Western Digital WD TV does, and I love it. I've got a 1TB drive I use, movies & tv shows in AVI & about every other format.

But mine was $100 last summer. This looks like a steal. I'm gonna try one for the bedroom, just move the drive back & forth.
