I've made several purchases from these folks over the past few months and have been been very happy with the results.

Some decent deals, but some of these drills are pretty old now (from 2007). The chances of getting a good battery with them will be slim. I do need a new drill at the moment, and the drills themselves look like high quality and have good reviews on Amazon, but I'd rather not chance the old batteries.

ALMOST bought the $87 drill. With the coupon code it was down to $73.95. But shipping was nearly $20. Me thinks not.

I needed a chain saw and have had it on my wish list. In fact, in a spurt of spontenaity I grabbed one this weekend that was on sale for $99 and then saw the word "electric" which made me drop it like a dead rat. The very helpful clerk quickly ran to grab a gas powered one and when I asked how much, he said $249! Another dead rat! As it goes, this worked out beautiful! Hitachi is good reliable brand name and I just marked this item off my wish list for under $120. Awesome deal!

The list prices they say are retail are extremely inflated. For example; the 3 piece kit they show as retailing for $490.00 is really only $249.00 at Lowe's. For refurbished, the deal is just ok. I feel like you could get these new on sale for a similar price.

I bought one of the compressors based on this ad. I did not get the 15% discount when entering the WOOT code. Makes me a little pissy bought I bought it anyway.

The best prices were on the closeout items.

The refurbs are nearly the same exact prices (before the coupon) that brand new are on Amazon.
Oh well.

Also, I'm so done chasing up battery powered tools. I'll try to stick with battery drills, but these whole kits full of battery items mean you're locked in for life. I'm back to corded. Especially saws.
