@gusvonpooch: I believe Poly Leather comes from a synthesized Platypus in a repurposed, albeit a malfunctioning food replicator. A very large internet corporation liked it so much they bought the rights to the only operating piece of junk, I mean equipment, and have 3rd parties making Kindle cases and some other items and selling them to us as Poly Leather. Disclaimer: Just kidding, A-zon!

@misterron: I went to high school with Poly Leather,she was not much of a student but popular none the less.She later had to marry her third cousin Jack Ester but refused to take his last name for some reason.

Not sure about the quality of this particular product, but it sure is cheaper than most of the cases out there that do exactly the same thing. For this price, it's probably worth a try vs. the $40+ cases that are popular on Amazon, etc.

I have one exactly like this which I purchased from Best Buy. It retailed for $39.99, but my husband is an employee so I got it for less; I am getting two from here because I think it will work for a nook also, which 2 people in my family own. If they don't work for nooks, I'm sure I can find someone else who has a Kindle and needs one. Good gifts!
