I used watch this show, loved it.
Believe it or not
...George isn't at home.
One of the best theme songs. I sort of wish I could upvote more than once.

For anybody who hasn't seen this, let me break it down:
You get an alien supersuit that can do almost anything! But uh oh! No instruction manual?! What happened to the instruction manual?!
Not braggin' or anything, but Ralph is my friend!

Neat Fact: Ralph (William Katt) was Sgt. Fitzgibbon in the recent super hero movie "Super" (he was the policeman on TV warning the public about vigilante-ism).
I also loved this "back in the day".
@belyndag: bonus points!
I have never heard of it, but it sounds like it could be funny. Wait, it is a comedy?
@dbdoberman: Yeah it's a comedy. I was pretty young when it was on, but I remember the main character being able to fly but always had trouble landing and would crash into the ground, which made me laugh.
Great find... I worked nights when this was on and I only saw bits and pieces... Great price, I'm in for one...
@dbdoberman: More like action-comedy!
And the CG and special effects...will blow. your. mind.
@drchops: The manual fell out of the box that held the uniform.
Another trivia - William Katt's character's name, "Ralph Hinkley" was briefly changed to "Ralph Hanley" after the attempted assassination on Pres. Reagan by John Hinckley.
With all the carp Hollywood remakes of TV shows, why can't they do this one? They could even tie in the original cast without braking continuity.
I, like many others adored this series as a child. About 4 months ago I purchased the first season on DVD. It is unwatchable by any standard, and even for my very low kitsch/reminiscence ones.
The production value is so low, and the acting and writing so poor, I just can't get through it. Perhaps it's because I'm an adult and am more discerning, perhaps because as a kid it just captured my imagination. Whatever the case, I think this is best left as a fond memory. I know I enjoy it a whole lot more like that.
@first2summit: Wasn't it changed to Hankley, not 'Hanley" or am I remembering that wrong? I know it was a "big deal" when my family noticed the change.
@acraigl: I thought it was some other name too but confirmed it with Wiki and some other websites.
