Don't spend all that money on a ham.

Buy a good spiral sliced ham at your local grocer (under $20) and glaze it yourself the same way the honey baked ham company does:

I did this over the weekend for a family gathering and everybody swore I spent $80 on a Honey Baked Ham.

You will save yourself a ton of cash and will be proud to serve it to your family/friends because YOU made it.

PRO TIP: Glaze the ham two days before you plan to serve it and wrap it tightly in several layers of foil. Store in the fridge until needed. This gives the flavors time to work into the ham.

Where can I put in the code? I can't see anywhere to put it in. Also it wants to charge me more for standard shipping.

Got a ham certificate from work. Honey Baked Ham will combine the certificate with the coupon, so I'm going to use this to get an even bigger ham. Thanks!

Just click on the "I want one" link. The discounted prices automatically show up (which makes it a little confusing.)

Yes - clicking on the "I want one" link automatically shows discounted prices. I thought I was going to get an additional 25% off. Oh well, still a good deal for delivering someplace where you can't be to cook it yourself. HB hams are DELICIOUS but pricey...

There is also a coupon for $7 off an 8 lb. If you sign up for their email newsletter, they'll immediately send you a $9 coupon.

Shipping kind of elimates the discount. If anyone knows how to get the $7.95 expidited shipping, let me know. Thanks.

Honestly I think this is outrageous when you can go to a local grocer (I work at Kroger) and buy a ham for $1 a pound instead of paying $5 a pound

The free expedited shipping just expired at 12 noon ET. Can still get the 25% off though.

This discount is the best you will find for a HoneyBaked Ham that is ordered online. Not only do you get 25% off, but HoneyBaked will automatically upgrade your shipping if standard isn't going to get it there in time. You won't be able to use this promo code with any other offer.

The best coupon for HoneyBaked retail stores will be the one that tcanning mentioned for $9 if you sign up for the e-mail newsletter.

@cburgess12: Thanks for the link. But unfortunately I don't count a blowtorch among my kitchen gadgets. I suspect the old can-of-hairspray-and-a-lighter trick won't achieve the same result.

@moondrake: I was thinking of going at it with a bic lighter, no?

vote-for1vote-against

@moondrake: You can pick up a kitchen blowtorch for less than $40:

Even with the cost of a blowtorch (which you can then use for other cooking projects), it's likely cheaper than a sizable ham from HoneyBaked.

This particular 25% off coupon will expire at midnight on the 23rd. Even though the free upgrade in shipping no longer is applicable, this is still a great deal.

I suppose you can figure out how to manually glaze a pre-sliced hand with enough sugar, a blowtorch, and plenty of time. But if you're simply looking for a delicious handcrafted ham for a holiday dinner, even at the price, you can't get better and easier than HoneyBaked.

I've got to be honest... I prefer ham without the glaze. I like the salty-ness more than the sweetness.

The I want one did not put the discount for me. On the second page I added the discount and took the price down. So make sure you try the discount code and not just the I want one.
