Hemstitch 400 Thread Count Sateen Cotton Sheet Set for $39.99
I have to admit, I am a sheet snob. I want my sheets super soft. I was a little leary after reading a couple reviews but I am very happy with the sheets. I think they are very soft. They are a little on the thin side. They may not last "years" but for the price, well worth it.

Darn it. No gray.
@dreamyvelvet Buy the white ones and just don't wash them. Ouch, I just had to say that.
Big lots has similar on sale all the time for $10 less.
High thread count doesn't necessarily mean softness. Softness depends on the varity of cotton used i.e long or short strand. I have some sheets now that were 500 thread count but the thread was a short strand varity so they seem coarse next two another set I have that 300 count but is a long strand varity of cotton like pima or egyptian cotton. Its really somehting you have to touch to know what is going on for certain.
I am a 15 year hobbiest weaver, but just a beginning spinner. Sateen is just a weave to make things feel nicer. Its like the wrong side of the denim jean fabric. It has lost of scipps in the weave so it probably be weaker than normal fabric at this thread count. IT really only works well long term on strong materials like silk, long strand cotton, heavy weight (probably coarse) materials so this probably isn't a very good deal.
