I believe these are microfiber. Hard to argue with 1600TC, though.
@rprebel: Yeah, the "buy" page has more details and specifies microfiber—but doesn't say what kind. Cotton? Rayon? Polyester (probably, at this price)?
Over-half will not allow delivery to a workplace. I got screwed because of this.
@southcutt: Short answer: Polyester/Nylon. Long answer: http://www.ehow.com/facts_5941865_microfiber-sheets_.html
@prodigalsigh: We now fully support different billing and shipping address including delivery to a workplace.

Thinking about picking this up. Anyone have any reason I shouldn't?
I would be weary...http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/home/thread-count.htm
But for the price you can't beat it.
For just under $29 shipped, I ordered a set. If I don't like them I can always put them on the spare bed, since that's used at best two nights a month (parents or my brother's kids visiting).
To good to be true.
Oh, why can't these beautiful sheets come in full-size? (sob!)
I decided it's worth a try. I've been thinking about getting more sheets recently...early Christmas present!!
Anyone having billing issues? It told me there was a AVS mismatch then it locked up and wont let me in.
got them, thanks.
Similar deal on Tanga the other day. 1600 TC is the model number, do not assume it means Thread Count. Nowhere on any brand description page does it list the term thread count, only TC. Buyer beware imo
Site will not allow you to ship to any address other than billing address on credit card - declines AVS Mismatch. When you log in again to place your order - site will not allow you to change the shipping address previously used therefore you must sign in as a guest or you will be declined again!
Just ordered 3 sets - Fantastic value/quality.
@dodey23: We assumed that when referenced in the product name TC will be interrupted as thread count. The sheets are 1600 thread count.
We have added it to the product description to avoid any confusion.

Ordered a couple of pairs, but their shipping rate almost made me decide against it. For 2 sets of sheets +1 set of fuzzy toe socks for a gift, they were going to charge almost $12 for shipping per ITEM. Total $35 for shipping 3 reasonably light things. Oddly, when I dropped the socks out, it dropped to just under $10 per item for shipping, so it was a slightly more reasonable $20 for shipping. Maybe I've gotten spoiled by woot's cheap shipping, and amazon's free shipping, but that still seems high for regular shipping prices. I don't care how long it takes to get it to me (within reason), if I'm hunting deals, I don't want to pay more in shipping than I am for the items themselves.
why would I have to pay Ilinois sales tax--and its high?
I've noticed this with anoter Il. company too.
For 1600 TC and the low price, I am in for one. I can always give the sheets to my boys if they are not what I expect.
These are polyester microfiber. They are supposed to feel like 1600 thread count Egyptian cotton. Trust me, they do not. You can buy these sheets new on ebay all day everyday for about $30 and they have every size. Not really a great deal, and if you want the feel of 1600tc cotton sheets you will be disappointed.
I don't guess I can go wrong getting a set for the camp.
@kle11az: Thank you for the parenthetic elaboration. I was burning with desire to know WHY do they only use that room once or twice a month?
They advertise 5$ shipping but when you go in to order it's 10$/item. BS...No thanks!
in for one. I was going to get two but my 'too good to be true' senses are tingling and their solid "no returns." policy turned me off to jumping past my senses and getting two. It said "per item" for shipping but 1 set was $5 to ship and 2 sets were $10 to ship, I think the wording is just wrong. When you put in your billing info, the sales tax goes away if you are in another state.
Product name really should be "King OR Queen Set"... I was pretty excited there for a second. Still, probably in for one king set...
I ordered a set. King sheets are expensive.....and the last time my kid was sick I vowed to buy an extra sheet set.
@populuxe: That's why I ship stuff to my girlfriend's house in Iowa! Stupid IL!
Note: I live in the Quad Cities, so it's just across the river (15 minutes) from my house! :)
@ser: Really? It was $5 for me.
Just ordered a set, only $5 for shipping...YES PLEASE!
Shipping is only 5$. Maybe the extra 10 comes from ordering King size?
Concerned as to why onehalfsale would bother to answer some questions without answering the main question of what these sheets are made of.
microfiber sheets are not the most comfortable sheets
Esp if you live in Florida they don't breathe well
BTW if you want a pair you can find them YES double sized too... most any week at your local GOODWILL for under 10 bucks a set.
There is no cotton in a microfiber sheet
to me they feel like sand paper after a few washing because they tend to pill
guess it depends on how much you wear between the sheets...lol
purhased 5 sets for Christmas presents and only 4 were shipped. Have left multiple emails on web site and have not been contacted either by phone or email. there is no such website as support@overhalfsale.com only an option on the home page under contact us where you can leave an email. NEVER AGAIN
