I've got an 82 YO friend that put these on his front and back door. Made it easier for him and the dog to get in and out. Seem to work pretty well.

I own this item. Very difficult to install and were constantly falling off the door. Slightest breeze would open it.

don't buy these if you have any animals living in your back yard.
i purchased it and within two weeks the squirrels shredded it
also if you do but it buy some goo glue to mount the velcro strips because the one they provide are weak.
they will either come off the door or the frame in less than a day of being put up
