To anyone thinking of buying, I'd recommend doing some research on your own first. Last I checked only R4i gold carts played on 3DS, though I could be wrong. These things tend to have imitators, so it's worth looking into.

That said, I have an R4i Gold for my 3DS, and I love it. The community support and homebrew is fantastic; the only cart with better performance in my opinion would be the Acekard 2i, but those go for around $40, so this would be a steal.

Also, note that these carts do NOT play 3DS games! These are for playing DS games ONLY, but will work on a 3DS.
