I have one of these. It's a great tool!

Check HF ads before you buy this, it's listed for $19.99 all the time with a Super Coupon.

I bought one of these recently for $20 with the extra coupon in the paper. I used it to cut a piece of solid surface counter top, cut the caulking from the counter mounting, cut a biscuit out of a raw piece of wood, and cut a slot for the biscuit. It's turned out to be a pretty handy tool.

And if you take your worn out large blade, use a little contact cement and glue on a large fat piece of scotchpad like material, you have an excellent polisher.

I agree its always on special for $19.99!

$29.99 is the regular price!

I rather bump up to the blue one which has a speed dial! Which you could find on special for $29.99!

@intelpimp: no need for the speed dial. It will just burn up the tool faster. On off is the perfect options for these tools.

Blades go very fast! I have two of everyone and have burned through many cutting blades yet to use for sanding.

@bigapplebookworm: Thanks for the coupon link! Not familiar w/ using this tool. Can anyone recommend a good starter assortment of blades. I'm interested in drywall and PVC/CPVC projects in tight places. Thanks!

I have one of these, although it is an excellent tool mine broke the 2nd day using it. I was removing glue from a floor with a scraper bit. Opened it up and the brushes were fine. Banged it a few times and it started right up again. My guess is something with the switch.

I have been using this and a Porter-Cable one on a home improvement project I have been working on. Works fine and is great for $20 but the $100 PC works a ton better and has quick change blades. The HF one gets to a point where it doesnt cut like the whole tool vibrates and then the cutter does nothing...I dont know why it stops but the PC cut right through it. Also, the PC comes with a bunch of accessories which by the time you would buy them the tool itself is probably only $20 more than this $30 HF tool.

@limited660: It's because the HF one has less power than the PC one.
Also, the PC has a "tool less" head. You don't need that special noodle limp allen wrench to unscrew that soft metal bolt to change the blades.
